Thanks! I loved my job. I worked with a grad student from University of Delaware studying marsh birds. We got hooked up with one of the biologists from the state and we went around with him banding barn owls, screech owls, and perigean falcons. It was great! So every couple months we go out with him. And in a couple months I will be doing my grad work where I will be banding wild turkeys. Looks like you're having fun up there! I would love to take a trip up there, at least a hunting trip, lol.

Sounds good. We're getting underway in about an hour, but we'll be back on Sunday evening. Hopefully I'll have time for a few more hunts. The snow is getting awfully mushy though with all the rain. Even in snow shoes I'm having a heck of a time getting around. I've been rabbit hunting lately just b/c I don't have to travel as far. I've got quite a pile of skins to tan when I get home!!

.......Yep, that's why we pulled traps when we did. One trip, the sled even ended up submerged in Snow River!(won't run, now....gotta work on that!)

....congrats on the hares.......!...leave some for the lynx, though so they will open up unit 7 for lynx! ...lol

Well hello there aksheephuntress. Nice to see a familiar face on here. I'm still in your part of the world right now. We're scheduled to leave Seward on the 14th and head back toward Cordova. That gives me one more week to chase the wolves and coyotes of Seward!! Had any more great catches on the trapline lately? That last wolverine you got looked like a monster!!

..Hey, Thankyou!!- We pulled our traps 2 weeks ago, ......Snow River is such a mess, now...we barely got out of there when we did-weather is ...well, you know!!

...Hitting the gun shows, now........thinking of taking the kids up the road to try to call in some coyote, before the end of April.
