Of course the turkey pics I just posted aren't from Alaska though. I'm in Northern California this month for a Coast Guard school and the place is just over run with turkey, deer, and geese. Those are three of my favorite things so I'm not complaining!!
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
