WOW...You have got some unreal photos on here. And I thought we were dedicated hunters. Is all this on private ground? Big Bulls,Big Bucks, Big Bears..A hunters paradise..

Thanks, but i'm sure there average to you guys. They were taken all over Maine, I have a little over 40 acres of my own, an old homestead about a mile back in the woods near a big swamp with lots of apple trees that i've been trying to save. I love it up there, and go up a lot and just sit and watch the animalsin the summer.I get some of the critters there. Most of the moose are up north, but we have quite a few here now to.I love playing with my scouting cameras, And I always take my camera even in hunting season now, and try to get photos. It's thick where I hunt, lots of blow downs, so most of my shots are 50 yards an under now. It also makes it hard to get good photos and video. I watch a beaver pond in the summer and a few fields and see some nice bucks. The bears have been coming to my feeders the last few years, which I had never seen before. It was quite a treat. I want to put up the video of the big male tearing down my feeders when I get a chance to find it.That was awesome to see, well worth the feeders he destroyed,LOL.

Good luck hunting this year!

Well you sure put the time in thats for sure. I would be willing to sacrifice alot of birdfeeders to watch the bears. Had one eating out of my deer feeder last summer. Had tags in his ears so he had obviously been a problem before. Sure are nice to watch though.

The one here last year had tags, it was a research bear, came a long ways. He wasn't too old, and weighed 200 pounds dressed, my neighbor shot him, cause he was into his food plots he planted for the deer.He hung around a month, the big one only was here 2 days. Yes, I do put in a lot of time, I love it out there! You never know what will come by, like the last two deer seasons, a bobcat came by while i was sitting on the edge of a swamp. the one on my page here, was only about 25 feet from me ! It was so cool. And a young moose was going to come up and stick his nose on me a couple of years ago, I think I have him on the photos page here, all you can see is his face, he was too close, I had to scare him off! Getting so I like hunting with the camera more than the gun now .

Well if you can get the picture you could have killed them. Either way you out smarted them and to me that is all the fun.

Yep, that is how I look at it,LOL Oh, I guess that young bull wasn't on here, so I just put him on. He heard me walk in and sit down, and came right to me, grunting all the way, ha ha, it was almost rut time, so I figured he was close enough , and you can see a lot more of my pic. on my store to if you like to look at critters.

What is the store?
it's right in my section, about me, at the end ,it's called cafepress, gifts of nature store, just click on it,and it will take you there.
