We really did! It was wild the way they ran the event. All the food, pop & water was free and you could bring in coolers with anything you wanted as long as it wasn't glass! LOL!!! I brought in a cooler with a plastic 2 liter of Seagrams, an 8 pack of 7 Up in plastic bottles and a big bag of ice! LOL!!

I saw that pic over on HOBB. Looks like you guys had a blast.
been too freaking hot! I have been working around the camp yard but havent ventured into the woods a whole lot. Got a few more weeks and we will get things kicked off.
i havent been to my huntin land since May..gotta make it down to set some ladder stands
[ Thats cool. Ive yet to set my 40 yd pin. May do that today. I'll try a 50 yd pin as well. Last year I just had my last pin sitting there doing nothing.
Very doubtful that I would shoot anything that far but it is fun to play with every now and then.
True, maybe I can ruin some more arras.
Since I live in the "flat land" we normally do not have anything for a backdrop but oak trees and briar patches. It is hard to find an arrow once it sails above or below the "vitals" at 50 yards.[/quote]
I bet, they bury up real easy. I have a completely good arrow sitting in Malta, OH and behind my Mom's house right now.
Not much except work...LOL...how's things been going with you? Are the temps hot enough for ya?
It has been a scorcher down here the last week or so. I tried working at the camp the yesterday and today but it is just too hot. We need rain in the worse kind of way. OK, enough complaining. You ready to bowhunt?
It's been hot here as well...But as far as the rain,we have really been blessed with this year...thank goodness after last years drought.
Yes I am always ready to bowhunt...cant wait. How about yourself?
Hey man, long time no type. Just checking out your bucks and it appears 'yall are going to have great year. I will be anxiously awaiting some "kill shots". Catch 'ya later. JT
Hey man, it has been awhile. Season is looking great so far. I have seen more good looking deer than I have ever seen. We start elk hunting next week. I hope it starts getting a little cooler.
I just came back from our camp and between the heat and the red wasp I came home with my tail between my legs. I hope to be getting my cameras out before long to see what is lurking.
