Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
I just found your profile. Looking forward to see ya'll this weekend. Have a safe trip down. Hope Dave gets to come. Shelly said that you were interested in turkey hunting. I think you will like it.
Awsome...well good luck and I hope Collin gets a big gobbler. I'll be looking for the pictures. I did go back to the 3 inch...and hopefully I'll just have to shoot a couple times to get a couple birds...hahaha!

No, I haven't gone yet. Our season don't start until April 21st...I am sooo ready. I put a new sight on my shot gun and went out last weekend to pattern it...and I have the bruises to prove it. Dang...and let me tell ya...3 1/2 inch magnum turkey load shells kicks like a teed off full size mule! LOL
I know exactly what you mean, I use to shoot 3 1/2" shells duck hunting. It didn't help me kill anymore in fact on the second day I was usually so sore I could hardly shoot. Go back to a 2 3/4" you will kill just as many with a lot less pain.
WE have som guys coming in this weekend that are going to turkey hunt. We have been out scouting and I think we have found some big toms. I will post some pictures next week.
