Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
I told Steve if he ever wanted to do any trout fishing John showed me a good stream that I've been catching a bunch of fish in. So if you ever want to hit it up, just let me know. It's nothing compared to hooking into a nice striper but it's still fun.

Its great little 17 acre in Columbus that we have permission to hunt. It's a patch of wood between 2 fields. It's honey hole. In '06 we took 11 deer off it with a 7pt and 8pt. Last season we didn't hunt it as much, we took 3. steve's brother, Scott, took a nice 8pt.
It can hold 3 guys (bow), 2 guys (shotgun, ML). You guys are welcome there any time. Great place to get your doe.
We have to all get out together this year. We could all fit over at the farm. Tons of great spots. I can't wait to get my new bow and start shooting some 3d too. I used to shoot 3D every weekend all over the place. There are some really good shoots I'll have to take you guys to.

the ole thunder chicken almost had a easton pin him to a tree, lol..... 40 yards, full draw and a hen clucked behind him and he turned around and left..... i was mad!!!!
