Yup, the 100% albino (like the one pictured) are protected in Wisconsin (they are NOT protected in the CWD zones, however). This one was in Cable, WI (northwoods) at my aunt's backyard feeder (I almost hit him with my car once too).
Unfortunately he was shot about 2 years ago - but the DNR caught the hunter and needless to say he was slapped a pretty decent fine and had his privlidges revoked. My aunt says there's another 100% albino up there again - so I'll get more pics if she gets them on her trailcam!
