Hi Shaman,
Thanks for the compliment on me harvesting the 3 pt. muley.
He was hot on the trail of a doe and was sniffing her out when I ranged the buck and let the arrow fly. Prior to my hunt, I was practicing all week shooting the Diablo at 50 and 60 yards. It was a gimme as he was standing still broadside smelling the doe at the time of the shot. He ran about 60 yards and expired about 10 yards from the road. Easy pack out eh!
Thanks,
Ron
From what I understand it is even more crazy than normal after all the tornado damage!! Be safe and hopefully it will pass quickly and you will be home before you know it!
Great to hear. But careful what you wish for. Snow melted here and now I have a swamp.
Our driveway is already sunk. Log driveway with slope + many snows, melts, rains has washed all the driveway sand down into the bottom where it has now created a mud pit. I think some of our tax return this year will go towards larger gravel to try and at least create a solid base for next year.
I went out shooting yesterday and was sinking to my boot tops while shooting. It's a mess
Took bow in. Strings will last another year. Timing was off, so got that touched up. Shooting like new. Now if the snow would melt, I'd be able to put some real shooting in.
