For all our Pennsylvania friends, here is something that really is once in a life time event.

Recently the Game Commission was able to purchase nearly ten square miles of land in Elk County. All of it was formerly posted and not available for hunting to the public.

Not any more!!

When I was asked if i support a motion to let smaller bucks walk, I was shocked someone here felt the same. The motion was to take only deer with 3 or more points on 1 side, wow i didn't think this through. This year I'm finding ALOT of deer that fall into this range. 4 point to a few 6 points. perhaps i should have thought this out more. I see a few of these young bucks taken because no one is willing to wait it out, or chance it.
