Saint Paul, Minn. - July 21, 2008 - Minnesota's 2007-2008 pheasant harvest of 655,000 roosters is the highest-recorded total since 1964, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. I am a new hunter at 44 years of age. I have got the itch for hunting and wonder if there are any others out there who hunt California. I already have a lot of my supplies and weapons. If you have any info about deer, hogs, turkey and/or pheasant, I  would appreciate any help with info. I have a deer tag for zone D-3,4,5 and I have a hog tag. I will be getting a turkey tag and I am still finding out info about the pheasant.I live in the San Francisco bay area so there aren't as many places... Read More
