I am a new hunter at 44 years of age. I have got the itch for hunting and wonder if there are any others out there who hunt California. I already have a lot of my supplies and weapons. If you have any info about deer, hogs, turkey and/or pheasant, I  would appreciate any help with info. I have a deer tag for zone D-3,4,5 and I have a hog tag. Step 1. Harvest a nice fat deer with your bow.



Step 2. Gut it out and hang it. I like to hang them from the hind legs because I find they skin easier for me. How long you hang it depends on hot warm it is where you live.

The "Mikes" are coming back! If you saw the pics, "Mulie" Mike knocked down a bruiser last year. If you would like to share camp with the Mikes, I have openings for one or two guns.     I am just curious as to how many of you out there regularly go to sports shows, and where? I met the folks from Camospace.com at the Eastern Sports Show in Harrisburg, pa, and they seem to be fine people. I also had a booth there, for my website, WWW.HUNTERSONLY.COM , and we polled the people going by, most were from PA, but good amounts from Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, and New York.
