Bow Hunting

Hello,  why I got in to Bow Hunting. It was because I had Heart surgery and I knew I would be put on Blood Thinners. Here in New Jersey Our Bow season starts in September & runs till mid February. I started 6 months after My sugery, with a PSE Team Fitzgerald compound bow. I was lucky to get my first Deer on Opening day in 2002. I bow hunted with that bow till 2005 fall season started using a Ron Laclair Original 54" Shrew hybrid long bow. 2008 Archery Elk Hunt SW Colorado

This is video taken in SW Colorado.  This was my frist archery elk hunt and I had never been to this area.  It wasn't until the last two and half days that I got into an area that showed good potential.  Finding a good area to hunt here was my main goal so I'm not really disappointed that I didn't get an elk.  Because of the amount of good sign I found the last days I feel the trip was a success even though I didn't get or even see an elk.
