Posted On 04/16/2009 14:45:54 by USSportsmen
In another amazing example of terrible taste, PETA attempted to push its agenda in Germany by comparing the killing of animals with the Nazi war crimes against Jews during the Holocaust.

The highest court in Germany, the Federal Constitutional Court, decided on March 26, 2009 that the 2004 PETA campaign was illegal due its offensiveness to survivors of the Holocaust.

First, the National Park Service (NPS) issued a statement on March 10 that they are planning to outlaw lead ammunition and fishing tackle on the lands administered by the agency.
As the USSA said in our action alert, this is nothing more than a direct assault on the rights of hunters and anglers. Any potential alternatives to lead are infinitely more expensive and will drive hun... Read More

UNITED WE STOOD, DIVIDED WE FELL          On going attacks are no surprise against our hunting heritage.  I am certainly not the oldest of the bunch, was a mere teen in ’96 when Prop’s D and G were the hot topic.  I am unfamiliar with any hunting politics prior to that time frame.          I recall having cute little plywood bear signs in my...
