To whom it may concern: This year the state of Kansas has doubled almost tripled the amount of deer tags they will be giving out to out of state hunters. The state has taken away the transferable landowner tag so if you want to hunt in Kansas you must apply by June 2, 2008. Well, I hunted hard the last 5 days...it was my first time turkey hunting ever. The first two days I called and helped my father and we had gobblers come into us both days. The first day one came in and stopped bout 200 yds away and would come any farther and went back into the woods.
