I see we can take 5 geese instead of three for early season this year. I might have to take some time off of work for that.
NOW yer talk'n !!!
I still haven't found any time to get out and ask some of the local farmers about hunting their land. I guess I'd better get my priorities straight. I know if it doesn't cool off pretty soon, I;; be hunting in my shorts again this year.
Been super busy all summer. Season is nearly here and I havn't even scouted yet, of course we hunt nearly two hours away so that don't really help. We are not going to be going all out this year with hunting as one bud has already moved out of state and I have taken a promotion at work that may tie me up a little more. We are still gonna get out just not as much as we would like. You are more than welcome to join us for both goose and duck. We hunt ducks over in Holly and geese in Sanilac County near Carsonville. Holly is a small drive, but realistically you could meat with me near Clarkston and I will finish the drive from there. As for goose season, I dont know how much we are going to make it up north but when we do I will let you know. It may be short notice though.
Sounds good. Where abouts in Holly do you hunt Ducks? Do you hunt water or fields? There seems to be quite a few geese around here in the Metamora area. I've been doin' a little scouting, but not much. Haven't even asked permission to hunt any farms yet. Do you have any Goose hunting fields around Oxford, Metamora, or Lapeer ?
I've got my studio all set up and ready to go. Just let me know when you're ready to have that Woodie mounted and I'll have it done within a month as long as you get it to me before I get a bunch of other mounts in.As of right now there is NO waiting list.
Sounds good. Hopefully if everything goes good for me in June I'll call ya and run that duck up to ya. Your only a 10 minute drive from me. Maybe I can fill ya in on some spots for next season.
Sounds good Pike, I could sure use some info on the Waterfowlin' in the area. I'm not too familiar with Metamora. I know theres some good Fowlin' at the Holloway Res. though.
I've had a problem with the phone number I gave you the other day. When I get it straightened out, I'll get you my new number.
Hope the move is going good. Of course as everyone else has said I heard about the DHC incident. Its crap, and its time they grew up a little around there.
Hey Pike, The move is goin' good. We've got everything packed up and the house is completely cleaned and ready for the renters. I took the first load down to the new place yesterday. We'll be all moved in by June 3rd. I sure will be glad when this is over. I HATE moving !
As far as DHC,,, they can play Cyber jerk, I mean Cyber Cop all they want. I've got the perfect sign for those Admin's and Mods over there.

Yeah you would think so. I've been out of the pike fishing for a few years now. I meant to knock some northerns this spring but spent to much time perch and walleye fishing through the ice. Maybe this summer I'll go on the hunt...
