outdoortruths Welcome to outdoortruths's profile

I do a ministry to hunters and fishermen. It actually started over five years ago when I began to write a column for newspapers. The column is called Outdoor Truths. It talks about hunting, fishing and the outdoors and has a light Christian message. It now appears in eighteen states.
I speak at outdoor events for churches and in other venues.
I have written two books by the same title which are simply a compilation of my articles.

I am a pro staff member for PSE Archery, Mothwing Camo, Alpen Optics, and Schiek Sports.

I have been married to Teresa since 1980 and have three children and two grandchildren.

I did check out your video. It looks good. I owned a gym for 8 years. I use to be fairly large. About six years ago I turned into a runner and lifted weights 2 days per week with high reps. I've not lifted however in a year. I still run but I'm down now with Plantar faciates (sp) Heel spur injury, but takes a long time to heal.

Ya I about started my own gym 4yrs ago but chose to pursue intooutdoors.com instead. I'm starting to run a little bit. I'm naturally fat so doing cardio for this summer is a must. I mainly do slow speed for long periods of time but I've incorporated 20mins of jogging into my workouts here lately. Might do more than that in the following months but I'm just playing with 20mins for now. Sorry ab the injury. That really sucks. Hope you get back to normal soon. Just uploaded a new video, let me know what you think! http://intooutdoors.com/

2008 was a very prosperous and big year for CamoSpace and we would not have grown so fast if it was not for the support of our members.

SPECIAL THANKSGIVING DAY WEATHER ALERT:

Turkeys will thaw in the morning, then warm in the oven to an afternoon high near 190 degrees. The kitchen will turn hot and humid. If you bother the cook, be ready for a severe squall or cold shoulder. During the late afternoon and evening, the cold front of a knife will slice through the turkey, causing an accumulation of one to two inches on plates. Mashed potatoes will drift across one side, while cranberry sauce creates slippery spots on the other. A weight watch and indigestion warning have been issued for the entire area, with increased stuffiness around the beltway. During the evening, the turkey will diminish and taper off to leftovers, dropping to a low of 34 degrees in the refrigerator. Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, high pressure to eat sandwiches will be established. Flurries of leftovers can be expected both days with a 50 percent chance of scattered soup late in the day. We expect a warming trend where soup develops. By early next week, eating pressure will be low as the only wish left will be the bone. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
