Rock, Pop, Country, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's - Just about anything that has a good beat!

Don't take much time to read books. Magazine and newspaper articles are more interesting to me because they're a quick read. Although I have read a couple books, just because one of my cousins wrote them - Carry Me Home & The Book Of Bright Ideas, by Sandy Krings. And I must say they were very good - kept me up into the wee hours of the morning just so I could find out what happened in the end.

First my family! Love the outdoors, hiking in the woods, target shooting, and fishing (when there's time).
Most of my interest depends on what my sons interests are - If it's basketball season than that's my interest, when it's baseball season than that's my interest too. You get the picture :o).

A little of this and that. Keep up with American Idle when I think of it. Enjoy movies during the winter, not much TV in the summer. My favorite movie is Armageddon.

My husband!

I'm married to a WONDERFUL husband and we have two GREAT boys. I enjoy being outside and would much rather mow the lawn, tend to the flowers than do the dishes and dust the house.

Grew up in Wisconsin, lived in IL for a few of my teenage years, lived in Ohio for around 5 years, and in MN for about 2 years. Eventually, couldn't resist moving back to my hometown in Wisconsin. Even though when I left, I said I'd never move back. They always say you end up coming home some day and that's exactly what I did and haven't regreted it an ounce.

I was very lucky as a kid and had an Aunt who took me on her travels. I was able to visit just about every state, Canada and Mexico. A few years back my sister and I took a Sisters trip and visited Alaska for a week. I vowed that someday I'd go back with my husband and kids. It's one of the most beautiful states I've seen.

Today I'm chasing my dream by running my own business. Searched for many years to figure out what that business was going to be. Than one day it hit me and we decided to take the plunge and give it a shot. We developed a website where hunters and anglers can join and trade hunts with other members across the US & Canada. My husband has always wanted to go on an elk hunt out west but there was no way we could (or would) pay out the kind of money it takes to go on a guided elk hunt.

It doesn't cost anything to look around.
When you're there, click on search exchanges, you can see what others are offering for hunts. It's been fun to see what members are offering and what they're looking for.

Check it out here

Hey There,

Thanks for popping in. Summer is going great, but very busy. Now that the weather is nice I find it hard to spend time on the computer as much. For that reason I haven't been logged in as often and when I'm in it's just for a few minutes and I'm off.

How's your summer treating you? I hope all is going well and just as you want it to go.

Take Care!

I know what you mean about spending time on here, I don't much now either. I'm outside all I can be, we've had a lot of rainy days, but was nice today. My summer is going good, glad yours is, it's always busy isn't it, that'w why it goes so darn fast. Take care.

Here's a little humor for your day! An old picture of me & my siblings picking fruit when we were kids, up in Michigan on vacation!

I have truely enjoyed every part I've had with both my kids, they've been such a blessing!

outdoorsman123 wrote:
Well, there's only so far you can take your kids and then they really do need to have the desire to take it the rest of the way. It looks like he's got the desire to do just that. When that happens it's a very proud moment.

We're still working on that with our kids, our oldest (Sam - 12 yrs old), is starting to show us he's got the desire too. He received all A's the entire school year, with the exception of one B in the first quarter.

Our youngest son (Patrick - 9 yrs old) just finished 3rd grade. So we're still working with him.

Give yourself and your wife a pat on the back. Make sure you give your son a few extra pats on the back.
