the name's nina.
i'm not your ordinary girl. i am a professional taxidermist, a wildlife artist, and an outdoorsy girl who loves to hunt. when you first meet me, i will be shy, but i open up to people as I get to know them. i am usually in a laid-back mood but at certain times i can be random and crazy. i try to see the positive in every situation, even though sometimes that can be hard. i believe anything that is pure will overcome any obstacles. i've learned the hard way that relationships usually suck (currently single and planning to stay that way). i love music, there's a fitting song for every mood. my hair never stays the same color for more than a month.
i live and breathe whitetail hunting. to me there's no passion more fulfilling. through hunting i have learned many things. luck comes after preparation and hard work, and patience is key. i don't consider myself a trophy hunter. all i want to do is get out there, have fun and fill my tags, get some meat for the freezer. but killing a big buck would always be nice. my biggest antlered deer to date is a small 7 point, and many does and button bucks have fallen to my rifle. i enjoy both gun and bow season. my archery tackle consists of a browning micro adrenaline 3 with a 45 pound draw weight, whisker biscuit rest, and vital gear one-pin sight just to name a few of the added features. during rifle season i usually take my remington bolt action .243 but this year i am using my dad's 30-06 (which I killed a doe with last year) just to try something different.
It has always been my dream to become a taxidermist (hence my business name Outdoor Dreams). 5 years ago, i chose to pursue my dream and make things happen. i started out tanning hides, then later on i did my first mount of a deer that i killed. the rest is history. as i got more serious in taxidermy, i joined my state association and started going to competitions to better my work. ever since then, my mounts have improved greatly. now, i am a licensed taxidermist, taking in customer's trophies. i specialize in whitetails and would love to work on your deer, so if you're close and are interested in a mount, feel free to drop me a line.

hi just wondering how much you charge for mounts of deer .and other mounts. jeff
Jeff,
Deer shoulder mounts are $380. What other mounts do you want pricing on? I haven't made a complete price list yet because right now I am focusing on deer as my specialty.
thanks
Nina
how much for a doe mount. jeff
Jeff, doe mounts are the same. Even though does don't have antlers, a skull plate isn't much difference, all deer mounts require the same amount of work and detail. thanks
Nina

Where in Pittsburgh are you from? I grew up in the South Hills.
I don't live in Pittsburgh, I just put that as my general area because I'm so close. (45 minutes away) I live in Hookstown.
Gotcha. Still a Steelers fan though right?
