I like lots of different music from old rock & roll to pop to even some country! Favorites are mostly female vocalists... but I also like a lot of older hard rock... Cream, Hendrix, The Who...

This Buck is haunting my dreams!

Family, Friends, Hunting, Fishing, Camping & Dogs!

I'm a firm believer that we have choices in Life! I choose to enjoy it and I really admire others that do as well. We have many challenges and much adversity along Life's road and how we choose to deal with those challenges and adversity has a lot to do with how we turn out as individuals. I truely believe that Big Smiles are infectious, I believe that good behavior should be encouraged and that we need to give younger folks all the encouragement possible. I really like to congratulate people on their accomplishments because it helps encourage them to accomplish even more. With all that said, there are some gals, besides my daughter that I really admire for their ability to overcome adversity in their lives and still have great big infectious smiles! So, I've adopted some of them as my internet daughters & I plan to continue to encourage them in their lives as much as I can! One of them I've known for a long time and the others I've met more recently but they all have touched my heart with their smiles & stories! Les, Jenn, Joy & Laura you are all very special ladies, thanks for all that you've shared! I'm very proud of y'all! Also of note, I firmly believe that getting more women and children involved in our outdoor adventures of hunting and fishing is exactly what we need to ensure the future of those adventures. So, to that end, I really like to encourage all the gals that are out there promoting it!

Hi! I'm Mike Johnson, aka: mrjbigfoot because of the size 15 feet. I carried the bigfoot name most of my youth because I grew up in a neighborhood with 5 other Mikes for friends so we all carried nicnames! LOL!!!

I'm a Plant QA Mgr of a Metal Food Container Plant. I've been making cans for the last 24 years. I have a 26 yr old Daughter that has an Honor's degree in Social Services work out of UC and a 16 yr old son that is an Honors Athlete in High School, playing football. And to answer all the silly poll questions...

I like to:
- Hunt more during the hunting season
- Fish more during the fishing season
- Favorite thing to hunt is deer with a bow but I gun hunt to & enjoy it
- Take the 1st doe that walks up and/or several in the process of waiting on a nice buck.
- Go by an 8 points or better rule these days.
- I'm a pretty good cook, love deer meat & so do my wife & kids, so I figure I'm doing pretty good!
- Switch to waterfowl after deer tags get filled
- Like to Turkey hunt to but I'm new at it.
- Like to hunt upland birds but no dog at moment.
- Don't own fancy guns/bows, just shoot good!
- I love the hunt for big fish!
- Musky, Pike, Catfish & even Big Carp!
- I love to Salt Water Fish when I can(vacations)!
- Dream hunt = combo moose & bear in AK!
- Dream fishing trip = catch big sharks!
- I'll be 1st to admit I'm an Extrovert! LOL!!!
- I love to share cute pictures and if they make you smile, my mission was accomplished! I'm not looking for a woman, I just was always taught to be nice to the ladies and I enjoy being nice!

Deer Bow Season opens 9/26 and Fall Turkey opens 10/10!

Here's what else I like, Shark Fishing!

Ohio allows concealed carry permit holders to carry even when bow hunting or shotgun/slug or muzzleloader hunting. Heck, I'd just shoot the cat with my bow if I was bow hunting. They are non restricted/not identified as a species in Ohio but we're not allowed to shoot bobcats because they are protected. That is pretty much the same here now. That is a nice Buck.

Not many people know about it, but the PA Game Commission recently passed a law allowing archery hunters the ability to carry a side arm during the season? Makes ya wonder why all of a sudden when they were so dead set against it. TJ

We have the same type stuff going on in Ohio, even in the area of the farm where I hunt in Southern Ohio there have been sightings. I have one trail cam picture where there appears to be a big dark tail going off the left side and it makes me wonder...

Hello Sir, thank you for getting the real truth on that pic. I live right where a "REAL" PA Cat ran the three horses right into Rt. 81 and a tractor trailer killed all three. I have cameras in the woods right now trying to get some real pics of one. TJ

It's killin time and I'm at work... I have customers coming for a visit & tour tomorrow and then Monday/Tuesday I have to do a couple day road trip in Indiana to go for a trial run and visit some customers but My wife said I can skip Thanksgiving and head South Wednesday if I want to get some more bow hunting in before our gun opener on Monday the 30th!

I hear ya.

Word has it things have opened up the past couple days with the big boys getting after it . . . I here I too sit "working".

I'll be hunting at the farm Thanksgiving day and Friday—then I'm going to head North to the Brown County lease for the remainder of next weekend. Not sure how the hunting will be by then, as I'm sure some lead will be flying this weekend with the opener of our gun season—but it'll beat sitting on the couch regardless!

Watched your video again last night . . . what a heartbreaker!
