I just got my mount back, and you were interested in what it scored. I have not had it offically scored by the guy referred me to. My fried and I scored it non offically and we came up with 129. I dont know how accurate we were but we followed the scoring sheet he has used before, and I dont know if 129 is even good. We did find that the left and right side were very symetetical. Anyway I just thought I would let you know.
Hey! Thanks for getting back to me, the mount looks great by the way! 129 is a solid deer anywhere, especially Maine. If you had killed this deer with a bow 129 would make the book. Unfortunately it won't, ( if this is the real score ) because it was taken with a rifle. But the book is just that, a book. This is an awesome deer, bigger than anything that I've killed, and I have done a lot of hunting and shot a lot of deer. Congrats again!!

I'm originally from Wells, graduated in 1981 and I took my 7 pointer this year on the power line at the Basin near the Trailblazers club. Your deer is beautiful and it goes to show you that we've got some big ones right here in Southern Maine. I tagged mine at Allard's in North Berwick. I thought about the Getty Station but I wasn't sure if they had scales or not. Take Care Max
