moondog Gun season opens Saturday. Off for 2weeks.

My name is Mike and I live in Western NY. I'm a happily married man. I have 2 great kids and a wife who's my best friend. My family means everything to me, it is what's most important in life( besides huntin and fishin of course ;) ) I've been hunting since it was legal for me to do so. I love deer hunting, I can't get enough of it. Gun or bow, although I've never killed a deer with a bow YET(70+ with shotgun), I just really enjoy being out there. Last year was my first try with trail cameras and they are awesome.

Thanks for the add . I was snooping in your profile and noticed you said you hunt on 35 acres near home. Looks like you have some pretty nice deer roaming on there.

Thank you. Yes there are some nice deer. That 35 acres is so thick in most places you can hardly walk through it. Thank God for the DR field and brush mower. Take care and good luck this year.
Well we have 60 acre farm we hunt on and it very nearly all woods. Can't see over 75 yard anywhere. Needs some clearing, but we don't see the deer that are on it unless they cross the trail cam thats set up near the feeder.Good luck to you too.
