I mostly listen to country music,I like Kenny Chesney the most he has a way of writing songs that most people can relate to in there own lives.I still like the rock of the 80's to the 90's also. I like listening to Ted Nugent once in awhile.
BOOKS
Hunting mags and Car mags dealing with older muscle cars.
INTERESTS
Hunting, fishing, being in the mountains.I have always been a city person, but I always like being out in the country or at the lake where there is peace in the air.My other interest other than hunting in the winter months is Hockey. Lincoln has a junior hockey team the Lincoln Stars that my family has gone and watched for eleven years now.
My favorite NHL team is the Detroit Redwings. And I also like NHRA Drag Racing, I have attended National events at Topeka Ks. a few times with my buddies.
TELEVISION
Hunting and fishing shows of coarse.Nhl and College Hockey, most comedies, suspense shows like CSI,Law and order, and different shows like that.My wife says I am a TV addict during the winter.
HEROES
My Dad will always be, even though he is no longer alive, but my biggest Hero is my son Brandon who is currently serving in the US Marine Corp. in Iraq. He is currently serving a 7 mo tour until Nov. I miss him very much.
miller59 wishing everyone on camospace a Happy 4th of July.
ABOUT ME
Not a whole lot to tell, I love to hunt even though I do not get out as much as I would like to. I do some bass fishing when getting the chance, and camping along with it. I have a wife and three wonderful children and three grandchildren.
Thanks for the add,I have had a great time chatting back and forth with you.I can tell you have a good head on your shoulders, I am sure your parents are proud of you.Good luck with what ever you choose in life,I can not believe you catch rattle snakes I would still be running.Anything other then a garter snake is going to be by itself, I don't like snakes, oooooo,I know your laughing.See ya have some cute girls on your friends list, lol only to be young again, talk to ya soon take care .
Thank you, I really appreciate it! As for the rattlesnakes...it's just something my dad got me into. It took awhile for me to work up the guts to do it but now he has me holding em and everything. it's a eck of a rush, that's for sure! We do not kill them tho. Some people don't understand why, but they don't bother me so why should I kill them, ya kno? The girls? That's another story, haha. Not too many girls around where I'm from that are so into the outdoors like the girls on here. It's awesome talking to em and hearing them talking about their experiences.
Totally funny it is a small world. No I never made it there but wow I must have been close. My friends last name was Larrington if you know anyone with name.I do not see him anymore as he moved away from Lincoln. His cousin said that his dad had thought about or did turn that area where I had hunted into a bed and breakfast but not sure if he did.My other friend that is from up in Springview, his last name is Smith, he lived south and east of town.Mr Larringtons dad lived north and west of town, said there farm was about 6 or 7 miles from the South Dakota border. You have made my day thinking about this, I checked my page at lunch at work and was totally amazed about what I was reading.I am glad we have past ways this way ,maybe someday we can meet for real, please keep in touch with me on here as I will with you, I hope you had a great day,so far I have been having a Monday all the way up to today I hope tomorrow is going to change.
I attempted to reply to this but it would not load for nothing so trying it this way.
I am pretty sure I have spoke with these folks before, last spring I was attempting to find a place for some turkey hunters to stay and think I talked with them then.
Spring '07 we were hunting a watched a wall cloud come up on us and pass over us luckily. I don't believe they were so lucky, lost their place if this is the same folks.
Yea, my week has been tough, sitting here at home not gettin nothing done. Headed out late thrusday or friday early, working another weekend.
You be lets stay in touch, if you don't see me around, you can always find me at this place.

Admin there and go by Buckshot on it.
I may have to take you up on that hunt,I went turkey hunting with a friend years ago up in Springview Ne.His grandfather had land by the Niobrara River, had lots of canyons was a cool place to hunt.Where abouts in the sandhills are you at.
LOL, you didn't happen to drive past a small bar/town called Meadville along the Niobrara did you? About 10 miles out of Springview is all. I have ground west of there. Also southwest of Valentine, NE along the Niobrara there and some up along Missouri River where it enters the state.
Small world isn't it. Was a heck of spring here for turkey, winter would just not go away. May 1 we had 15" of snow on the ground, had another 8" earlier that week. Poor turkeys didn't know what to do, holding together in winter flocks still alot. Nothing greening up as it usually is that time of year. Birds got a late start to say the least.
"GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS , SO WE CAN ENJOY WHAT WE DO HERE AT HOME"
It's great to see people recognize the troops...I think way too many people take them and our freedom for granted.
I have to agree with you on that one,I have been so amazed at the kids that have been joining the service when they are getting right out of high school. My daughter has friends who are going in this year and next year also. The strange thing was that my son joined after one of his close friends got killed over in Iraq,my son joined 2 weeks later.
Wow, that means alot! You got me thinkin, and to be honest, if my buddy who i've known since i was about 5 years old got killed over there, I'd be joining too. I kinda feel like I'm doing my country wrong by not joining and serving. I don't kno....but I do know that if there comes a time when they are in serious need or if there is a draft, I will ask no questions and proudly serve our country! Again I have a ton of respect for your son. Please let him know, that I am extremely thankful for what he is doing, and he should be extremely proud!
Thanks for the welcome. Glad I found this place. Not a whole lot of other Nebraska folk on here I see. Hope to meet up with you one day out there. Turkey hunting is my game, give me a shout if you ever need a place to go.
I work with a couple of folks that have a son & daughter in the service of our country right now & I can imagine it isn't easy being a parent but it has to be just the best sense of pride!
