Hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and writing are high on my list of favorite things to do.
I enjoy spending time with my family.
Travel to the western states, Alaska and Canada are things that I love.
Fly-fishing is probably #1 on my hobbies. Fly tying is another love.
Primitive archery and constructing my own bow and arrows is a lot of fun

I am retired from apparel management. I have been writing an outdoor column for local newspapers for several years. I have two books published. "Return to Oak Hill" is a suspense novel. "Fly Rods, Good Dogs and Straight-Shooting Guns" is a collection of my short stories, instructional articles, poetry and fiction related to outdoor topics. I have another suspense novel about 50% completed at this time.
