I am the Editorial Assistant for Woman Hunter, a hunting magazine for women. I am also an outdoor writer. I am a pro-staff member for PSE and Lost River Game Calls and a field staff member for SHE Safari.

I have been married for 11 years to an avid hunter and we have a 7 yr old son, Briar (who, by the way, just took his first turkey this past season)! I have been hunting for 13 years and started hunting because I realized if I wanted to spend any time with my husband, I would have to at least try hunting. I am now just as addicted as he is.

I am just a simple country girl who lucked up and landed a job that nearly every hunter dreams of. I am very thankful for every oppportunity that has been given to me. For those that do not hunt, it is hard to explain what a feeling you get in the woods. Thank goodness there is a place where people understand!! :)
