Hey everyone thanks for stopping by,my name is Louie I live in southern Illinois I'm the father of three beautiful children who I love to teach about the outdoors and hunting my two sons have taken the hunter safety class in 2007 and both took their first deer the same year thanks in part to my good friend David.My daughter will take the class in 2008 and hopefully get her first deer in 2008.I've always loved hunting but when you see your children joining in it gives you a better joy than hunting with anyone else and you know why your grandfather,mother or father had such joy teaching you.So keep the traditions going and teach someone to hunt you'll find the true joy in hunting.
We can still take two but its helped here in Illinois just taking two people dont just take whatever walkes by they let them grow and mature
Your short gun seasons helps too! Our gun season is 2 1/2 weeks followed by 2 weeks of muzzleloader! It stinks when you've chased em all year and some dude that hunts 2 days a year kills one at a hundred yards on the run!
yes modern medicine is great mom had three kinds of cancer when they found hers, breast,lymph node ,and bone marrow all in stage four.she was due to go through six treatments then go through radiation treatments she only made it til number five and it was gone not in remition but not to be found at all and still not any sign to this day she says it was the power of prayer and I cant disagree and her doctor agrees hes says he doesnt understand it but some one was looking out for her and were all glad he was.keep in touch and keep hunting its great to see so many nice people in one place people that dont hunt or enjoy the outdoors just dont know what they are missing. And the piebald (sorry for the last spelling)is cool we dont have any around Southern Illinois that ive seen if she comes back get more pics maybe she'll have a piebald buck this spring
