Thanks he is our 2nd boy first just turned two in December where did you get your antelope ive got 13 points this year trying to decide between juniper and steens

I got that one in Wyoming, in 08.
I had 13 points, and finally drew in Oregon in 07. I drew Malheur River, first hunt. Was slightly disappointed, since much of that unit had burned. Got a decent buck, but nothing great. While there, I saw lots of guys coming through who had hunted the Steens - some nice bucks for sure. One guy I know hunted the Juniper unit. He did well, but had access to private land.
I think I'd go for the Steens, if it was me.
But, with only 1 preference point, I doubt I'll be drawing again in Oregon for a while.
Good luck.

Kirc

WOW!!! Congrats! Hope mom and som are both doing great.

Got a nasty head cold, but other then that everything is good to go. Found a few sheds, but last weeks snow put a halt to finding much. Oh well, they'll be there when it melts.

Getting a little antsy for spring gobbler season. Been seeing quite a few birds over in White River, but they're still in the big winter flocks.

Need to get my hunt apps done here soon, already know what I want to apply for. How about you?

Gotta get going, work awaits. Later, Ron

Hey Kirc! Just been steelhead fishing the past few weeks with not much luck. water is either to high and dirty or to low and clear, cant seem to get there at the right time.
Thats a nice buck on your background pic. Is it local?
Were still working but only 4 8's for at least the next quarter of a year we hear.
Take care
