i think she will be fine, just make sure that she gets lots of practice. alot of kids sometimes go to the woods really unprepared for what guns really do to things. i know i shot my first deer in the spine and it still bothers me when i look back on it. just make sure she is consistent in aiming, but i would maybe take her out squirrel hunting first and get her used to a smaller gun like a 4-10 before going to a high powered rifle.

yes, we arrived literally days before the big snow storm early this year. we're not to far from you- medina, so we got the lake effect also. it's like nothing i've ever seen before. my family is from the south pacific islands and since moving to the states, we've been in the south, so this was a definate change from what we usually see. i'll be sure to keep the farmer thing in mind. speaking of hunting- the deer in nc top out 170ish lbs... the deer up here are absolutely massive to us
