Nobody knows? More than likely, they were poched since they were found dead close to one another? But, they say a game warden didn't find a bullet hole in either when examining them. Maybe it was a "Where the Red Fern Grows" thing? Kinda strange under the circumstances....non-the-less, they were awesome bucks. I thought they deserved a little air-time to give them credit. Pretty cool piece.
lots, if thats the question. everyone baits. its okay to bait we all do it. its okay to hunt sign. if you in the pines they are on to the baiting and come to it at dark mostly. youll never get a pressured deer in the pines over bait. north jersey deer are much easier to hunt. remember be patiant, a big buck has no where to go and all day to get there. i have shot all of my big buck and i meen all of them between 11am and 2 pm while in the tree. i usally sit all day when i gun hunt.
