ABOUT ME
I am a Christian man who loves everything outdoors. I am married to a Great Lady with two children, a deputy fire chief, active in my church and love helping others. I hunt and fish with my son as much as possible and we have a blast!! We also fight fire and train together. I look forward to making new friends and who knows, maybe even do some swap hunts.
Hows u'r season going?I got a Doe this past Monday. The rage 3 blade dropped her within 40 yards from where I shot her!Massive holes, complete pass through!First deer I ever harvested with the bow I'm butchering her myself Alot of hamburg and jerky meat(I'm a real butcher, and not in a good way) I was using the burning kind of attractant(Deer Sense)I suggest u try it,it works great 4 me(use just partA in early season. Both A and B in the rut Take Care,God Bless U and U'rs..Good Hunting DROP ME A LINE...BATTLE FORCE!
Glad you hear your son is getting close. My son got his first bow kill when he was 13. Nice 3 point. He just killed his second deer with a bow tonight. It was a doe. He's 15 now and I get more of a thrill from his success than mine. Happy Hunting and Good Luck
Thanks J. These are the good times! Congratulations to you and your son. People forget how difficult it can be to kill a doe.
Thanks, Bubba. I appreciate the comment and the friend request. I see yer 'Reflex' icon. My son, Eli has a Reflex Growler. Anything Hoyt is involved with HAS got to be good in my opinion. My cousin killed a 225"NT (still in Velvet due to an injury) in Jan. 2yrs. ago with his Reflex. I am tryin to get back into bowhunting this yr. I broke my neck and messed my shoulder up so I've been shootin that crossbow for a few yrs. I found a Hoyt Katera way down the line on e-bay......so if my body holds up, Lord willin I'll be back into the REAL bowhuntin this yr. Our season opened on the 15th, but the wind has been out of the East everyday and that ain't no good for my farm, so we haven't been out yet. Take care and good huntin. Later,
Dave C.
