Howdy,,hope you guys are doing well,,hope you both have a great season.

My resolve to practice good QDM is being tested. Every time I go out all that comes into my shotting lanes are button bucks and little 6 points. I must have been very bad lately cause it feels like I'm being punished. I've twice come close to having turkeys come close enough for a shot but then NO CIGAR. Frustration seems to be the motto of this season so far.

Thats the sad part of when you set a goal for yourself, you will have everything but what you want show up,,lol. Frustration is running high here as well, the fields are still full of crops and nothings moving on a regular pattern. If they don`t get the crops out it will be post rut before anything moves.
So true. The full feilds of standing corn are making it hard. It's been too wet to pick and the farmers have no choice. I may try a rainy day stalk thru the corn. Been a while since I've done that. Not my favorite way to hunt, getting all wet and muddy but usually productive.

Morning Ted,,I was up in your area monday,Mason,MI Saw alot of deer out moving in the thickets along 127N, alot of good looking ground up that way.

I do a lot of hunting up that way. Very prime area.

I bet that is prime area, loved seeing all the homemade deer blinds up there

Those ain't blinds, thats the homes most people in MI can now afford in this economy!!

Some looked vacant,,think they would mind if I moved in?
Knowing the way the government works here in MI, I'm sure you'd get stuck paying a arm and a keg in back taxes first.
