I've seen more big bucks during Muzzle loading season than any other season. I was impatient last year and was ready to shoot a doe when a big buck stepped out and was watching me line up for a shot on her. I saw him out of the corner of my eye as I cocked my hammer, and he spooked and ran back over the hill. I didn't get her either because she ran off as well.
hey 3 of best bucks were taken on 15 acre patch of woods with fields on all sides theres like 6 doe familys living there u can hunt there untill last week of october never see a buck then the rut starts holy cow watch out hey u mention taxidermy thought about doing that i do skull mounts caped 3 bucks ordered a vcr tape thats all the further i got as far as the lake hey just do it im a couple hours north of there rosholt by stevenspoint
