INTERESTS
Grouse hunting and gun deer hunting. Thinking about trying bow hunting (did it when I was young with a re-curve, but never stuck with it). Been doing some pheasant hunting since moving south and plan on trying duck hunting. I also enjoy trap shooting.

ABOUT ME
Married with one daughter and one son. Grew up in northern Wisconsin, but moved to the southern part of the state about 10 years ago. This time of the year I miss living up north. I have been a police officer since the age of 19. Hunting has always been big in my family and there is nothing like being in the woods. My son has started walking along when I go grouse hunting and it makes hunting twice as fun. Daughter is not interested, but I am still trying.

Was just up north the past 4 days for the antlerless hunt, didn't hear a grouse anywhere, that I had suuccess at last year. WTF? Only saw 3 does, and the guns weren't loaded at the time, as we were moving to another site.
I think we'll have to put off our walk in the woods until next year. The arthritis in my knees has gotten very painful, and walking any distance is quite difficult. Knee replacement surgery is Dec. 7th, and I hope to be rejuvenated, having new knees.
