Hi, my name is Matt!

I am the owner/operator of a hunting & fishing consulting agency called Foothills Outdoor Expeditions. http://www.foothillsoutdoorexpeditions.com/
I book hunting & fishing trips for outfitters across the North East,Mid-West, Rocky Mountains, Canada & yes even Africa! As part of my business I also offer guided hunts For Turkeys, predators & fishing in the central Foothills of the Green Mountains of Vermont! My Passion for the outdoors led me to start my outdoor business about 2 & 1/2 years ago with the hopes of it some day becoming a full time gig!

In my every day life I am a husband to a wonderful women, (who's name is Marietta) that gave me an eneregetic, up and coming outdoorsman named Logan!! In our spare time (yeah..what's that!) we spend the winters of the Northeast riding our sleds and summers cruising the lakes in our Lund. I can't say how thankful I am to have an understanding and tollerant family who allows me to travel in my off time to new areas to hunt in fish with outfitters I work with!

I run my business in my off time from my full time career as a firefighter for the city of Burlington Vt fire dept. I have been a carrer firefighter for 11 years and in the fire service for over 20! I will always be a firefighter until I am laying six feet under as it is in my blood for ever! But my true love is being in the outdoors, hopefully some day in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with my family by my side!
