Take care and be well my friend,
Tim
I used to live not to far from Wichita (between Greatbend and Pratt) and we hunted deer, all kinds of waterfoul and all the upland birds around there, so I understand what you mean about the kansas wildlife!
Good to have you as a friend!
Mike
Ya there is so many birds there. If you ever mwanna hunt let me know
Closed reed calls are $20 and open reed/howlers are $25
Or you can have a set which would be 1 of each for $40
all prices include shipping
Thanks
Bill

Thanks for the advice, balloons are a great idea! You might let me know what part fo kansas you will be passing through.
We do have 5 sets of the Matthews Genesis archery sets for the kids that seem to work pretty well.
Would like to meet you sometime if possible.
Hope you have a awsome hunt in WY.

Looks like a beautiful spread on your wallpaper!
We love it here and if would like to see more pics you could look at the website at www.livingwaterranch.org or come see us!
I saw that you teach kids archery and I would like to get some pointers from you because we do quite a bit of that here (just want to make sure Im not leading anyone astray}.
God bless you and your family!
Mike
Mike I love teaching archery. I became an NBEF instructor a few years back and am now teaching hunter education also. The best advise about teaching kids is realizing they have a short attention span and need to see some progress early. So I advise using a non-determinent draw length like the NASP gear, short distances, finger release and put some baloons on the targets just for fun - you wouldn't believe how much kids love popping baloons!
I'm headed to Laramie, WY, for an antelope hunt late August. Don't know if that brings me anywhere near you or not, but one route is through Kansas.
Just did the mapquest thing and it appears the quickest route has me through Nebraska, but the route through Kansas (I70) and then north at Denver is only an hour longer. Are you near I70?
I70 is about 9 miles out of Manhattan and we are 14 miles north of Manhattan. I70 is the interstate we use all the time so if you took that route you would be real close.
My wife and I are leaving the 14 and will be gone thru the 20 due to a training for at risk teens so we can get our camps set up for next year.
If it works out that would be great but if not we will try again.
Mike
We'll give 'er a try Mike - as time draws close we'll talk about it more. I plan to be returning some time the first week of September and could take that route home. Might be able to stop and have a cup of coffee with you if the timing works out.
