It has to be heavy metal or it aint worth listening to. Not really into music. I would rather listen to the pine tree's sing for the wind. I also love the sound of my pickup tires traveling over a highway. I can listen to that all night long.

The Bible. Its all thats needed. Its our owners manual for life.

Big bucks and big sheds... and anything that might go with them. Plus, I strive to keep my family comfy!

Dont watch much unless there's a MN Wild game, playoff hockey, or a PBR on. I do watch the news and try to keep myself informed and upto date on world affairs.

None that are alive.

dc240nt Welcome to dc240nt's profile

I'm a complete antler fiend who is infactuated with large trophy whitetails.

And therein lies my passion. Hunting and studying mature whitetails, collecting antlers, and shed hunting.

I'm always interested in buying big sheds. So if you have any laying around or know someone who might, please drop me a line.

I've personally found over 3000 sheds with the biggest being 113 non typical and 91 6/8 typical.

I rodeoed for 17 years, 8 years as a bullrider, the last 9 years as a bullfighter.

Worked 10 years for a railroad, 10 years of my life I'd like to have back.

Now I travel with our whitetail deer display. Just starting our third year with it and we've really made the rounds so far. If you havn't seen it yet, you will. Keep your ears open for "Wild Whitetails", we'll be coming to a show or state fair near you.

"I'm still chasin the wind" is my motto.

I've spent 75% of my life traveling the country and living in cheap motels. Met a ton of good people and a few bad cats along the way.

I've seen thousands of sunrises and sunsets thru the windshield of a pickup.

I've loved every minute of it.

I was born and raised just a few miles from the Canadian border in the northern Minnesota wilderness country of Lake of the Woods. Cold and snowy!!

I'm fortunate that I get to spend 75-100 days a year pursuing my favorite hobbies and passions. I love the wilderness and I spend as much time there as possible...most of it alone.

I've been happily married to the same gal for 17+ years and we have two Daughters 16 and 10. They dont share my passion for the outdoors or for life on the road. However, I have gotten them all out hunting at one time or another. They just dont share my level of interest. But thats alright. Because I'm a loner and I like it that way, and so do my girls.

My wife Holly and her only deer hunt. 138 inches!

Emily and Hanna with Emily's first buck. Oct 09.

So stay tuned Mapquest..., I'm not done yet.

"I'm still chasin the wind!"

Hey TreeKiller. From one shed hunter to another..., thats an awsome profile picture. Gotta love it!!

Hey 240...I'd had a pretty good day of shed hunting early this spring and decided to do a "SLOSATL"(staged look of surprise as they lay) instead of the usual ATL. That's a 70" 4pt Blacktail I'd found earlier that day, which is huge! Still a bunch of sheds to be found, but the grass and ferns really got tall in the last three weeks!

How far you from Ely? Met a couple of young kids that worked for the USFS who were out here fighting fires one summer. I got called to cut snags on a forest fire and they were assigned as my "helpers". Both were big into whitetail hunting. The guy was hoping to get home in time for the opener of GROSS (grouse) season. LOL
