killed up near my home town in southern huron county. Funny hting is it was killed at a point that comes out in the field, place we call "Butt shot Point" named it that because two bucks were killed there years ago in same season and both were hit in the a$$ fatally because of the femoral artery. The buck died right at the tree the porevious butt shot hunters killed theirs.
Hi Dan, Thanks for the congrats and keeping in touch. Ive seen three bucks in the past two times ive been, only one nice about 125class 8 point had him at 40 yards but to much brush, mabey next time. Rain in forcast for next couple days and got to work this weekend so mabey next week I get back out. Good luck, and keep in touch.....John

Hey, Dan. Been under the weather past few days. Been out twice with bow. Had a pretty 8 point at 45 yards but would not come any closer. Around 125 class i would guess. Hey Dan, Born and raise in Ohio. Left in 1986 i think. Moved to N.C. looking for work and found so much more. Hunting is great but i still miss the big old bucks of Ohio. Hope you have a great seasone......John
hey rick im going to buy a wood burning camp stove for a 16 x 20 tent any recomendations got a trip planned to central kansas first of nov. going to try to catch some good video
