I am a self employed small business owner. I am contracted by large furniture companys to install office cubicles. All my spare time is spent hunting and fishing. I live in the mountains of East Tennessee and enjoy feeding the wildife in the area. My dream is to take a turkey with my bow. Maybe this is the year.

Regarding your folk's farm, some people call that progress, but I'm in agreement with you. It's just a darn shame!! It seems every year we loose more and more wildland areas to that thing called progress. I'm familar with the area your refering to, and your right, it is getting more and more populated. I guess we just have to roll with the punches.

Thanks for the add request ! I hope that your hunting season is good this year ! Good luck to ya out there !

Thanks I just need to spend a little time at camp and in my stand. I don't even need to see game for it to be a success. For me it's about the journey not the destination.

Hello in Ohio. I hear you have some good deer hunting up there. What part of the state are you from. I had a friend who hunted Hamilton Co. and he claimed he would see 20 to 30 deer a day.

I'm up in Cleveland. Needless to say, I've got to go south to hunt. But if you have access to good land, 20 to 30 a day is not unrealistic.

Hey my friend, how's things going???...got any good places lined up for dove season???

Haven't been dove hunting in years. I'll probably plant some food plots at the cabin this weekend and work around the house. I set up my ladder stand on the ridge behind D H Compound in Clinton and the oaks were loaded with acorns. Hopefully I can get a shot at the buck we saw last year. Have you ever hunted that area?

Nope,I have never hunted that area...but then I don't deer hunt..just turkey hunt...is that area open to the public or do you have to have permission???...good luck on that buck..are you goning after him during bow season???

Hey fellow Taurus! Looks like we have many things in common. I just bought a brand new bow yesterday and I'm like you, I plan to get that big gobbler with it this season. There's just SOMETHING that centers around a campfire... things that only those who know it and have been there would understand. I hope you have a great season coming up!

Thanks for the request. Nice to meet you. :)

How's the turkey hunting in Cosby these days? I use to hunt in Jones Cove years ago but haven't been there in years.

Not too good. We don't hunt around here. We used to have turkeys here on our own property, but too many new folks with kids and 4-wheelers moved in and tore up the woods around here. Haven't seen any turkeys for 4 or 5 years. This place has gotten too populated. We hunt in Del Rio and Grainger county on friends land.

Gotta love the spring smally fishing...I have a place on the St. Lawrence River in upstate NY not too far from Lake Ontario. It's only a three hour drive so I'm there all the time. Good times!
