ABOUT ME
I am a very loyal person who will do anything for my family and friends. I love teaching and would not want to do anything else, although the pay could be better! Sports have always been a huge part of my life and now that I am done playing I enjoy coaching. I love to hang out with my friends and am up for just about anything exciting. If your looking for me you can usually find me out in the woods or on a lake in my free time. Want to know something else just ask!
Hi! I see that your from Wisconsin. What town are you from? I live in Arena. It's a little town about 25 miles west of Madison. Right on the Wisconsin River. It rocks!
its kind of sad i hunt hard all year out of a climber and lock ons i have a 40 acer feild surronded by cutovers and pine thickets and one side has few oaks but mostly maples the farm is jind of a triangle. my stand is in the middle and i put it up 13 yrs ago. we call it the tower of power.its 16 ft off the ground but its in a high spot in the feild its 6x6 by 6ft6 tall and has a old love seat couch in it plexy glass windows that fowled in tin roof with a heater. i saw the buck on sept2 on the side of one of the ponds tha also border the feild in the morning but when he got in range it was to dark in the thicket i was in to shoot with bow. normaly i let my freinds hunt the tower of power first day and i hunt some where else on the farm. but everbody else was hunting some where else because the tower is not normally a good spot in the morning but opening day of rifle in md is fri day after thanksgiving shoten time had just came . i had a small 7 come out firstat about 320 yds in the southweat corner he walked about 500yds across the front of where i sit on the couch and then the big boy stepped out of the same spot the 7pt came out of . when he got about 260yds i shot him in the shoulder with a 7mm08 he took it well and bolted across the feild i shot him again on the run again un she shoulder a little higher and back oppsite side if first shot and he went down.sad part it was cold for first day and 10 mins before light i took a pic of my heater glowing in the stand teasing all my freinds that were in clmbers and lock ons freezing their ass off and i shot first and had sent some of them the pic before they could even see in the woods my biggest buck to date he netted 154pts .almost everbody thought it was a joke. he was in a food plot when i shot and when i dropped him he was in another food plot. i shot one abouthe same size last yr opening night big 10pt but i hit him a little high and i thought i hit him good because he couldnt get up on all fours but he got in a ditch by the time i got to him he was a t a full run thru the woods looked for 3 weeks never found him even used a dog . alos i shot him with a 270 with hornady130 soft points that i had shot 2 does with that morning
Looks like some good deer hunting your way.
