let's talk about a deer dog !!!

hey buddy,do you have some deer dogs?

i have one...he's a blue heeler pitbull mix.... never trained. i take him hunting with me...he sets his eyes on the deer...i shoot it...we wait a few minutes and then off he goes...never let me down yet....all instinct. his name is scrappy...great hog dog too....he'll run up on a pack of hogs...break one off and he'll run that hog right back to you...i shot a hog less than 10 feet away as he ran past one time...don't get no better.

10-4 thats a good mix, I have 1 blue heeler and 2 red nose pits.that dog of yours probably has a bunch of sense too. heelers and pits are both smart dogs, both hard headed too though. im actually lookin for some kind of hound. yall cant run deer dogs in texas can you?
don't think so....not to live track deer, but to find a deer you've shot is ok. not sure though...not really a practice down here. most of my friends use dogs for hogs. i'm the only one that only needs one dog, they all bring packs of dogs.
