Im in my last semester of grad school studying sports administration. I plan on either managing a fitness club or working in an athletic department hopefully in Missouri, but anything that pays well to support my hobbies will work. My dream job is to work on a hunting prostaff and play string music with my bow everyday. Bama is probably the coolest dog ever and he loves to party!

JUST CHECKING IN TO SEE HOW THE TURKEY HUNTING HAS BEEN. I GOT A GOOD TOM UP IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE STATE ON OPENING DAY. STATS WERE 23LBS,11IN BEARD AND 1IN SPURS. TWO DAYS LATER I CALLED ONE UP FOR MY UNCLE. 20LBS, 9.5IN, 3/4 SPURS. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN TRYING WITH MY BOW AND WORKING BIRDS IN FOR SOME OF MY BUDDIES BUT NOT MUCH LUCK THERE. THEY HAVE GOTTEN TIGHT LIPPED AND PRETTY HARD TO HUNT. MY DAD WAS JUST OUT IN WESTERN MISSOURI AND GOT A BIG TOM ALONG WITH A LOT OF TICKS. ANYHOW, LET ME KNOW HOW YOU HAVE BEEN MAKING OUT.

Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.

Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)

Have fun and send post up some good pics.

Happy Birthday to Bama...The new Drenalin is impressive. I recently got everything set up. I am using a Trophy Hunter fall away, Sword five pin site, G5 peep and easton lightspeed arrows and the set up is perfect. My top pin is good out to 30yds. I continued dropping back and shooting all the way to 60yds and continued hitting dead nuts....It was impressive!

At least you get to unleash on an old Tom Apr. 1st. We have to wait to the end of the month back here. One of these Springs I am going to make it out there. The Turkeys are thick there. They can be pretty tough to get around here. It's just that it is a 19hr drive and only big Whitetails and Elk fire me up enough to do a drive like that. I'll have to look at a map but what part of the state is Hays located in. I have some extended family in Marysville. They run an outfitter there Called Monster Bucks. Oh yeah and by the way I recently bought the new Drenelin and can't wait to play some string music as well! Take Care
