broadheadkillah Offering a FREE BACKPACK at www.timberhawkgear.com just for filling out a 4-question survey! Come on! Help me out here!

I like to hunt, fish, ride my motorcycle, read, write . . . I used be a cross-country mountain bike racer, and I also played drums in different punk rock bands around Colorado and the Detroit area. I published my first book, Mysteries and Legends of Utah, last April, and I graduated from the Masters program for creative writing at the University of Utah, in 2006. I also own Timber Hawk which is an awesome line of camo backpacks and fanny packs for hunting. Timber Hawk was started by me and my friend, in 2005. I'm currently trying to find an agent to help me publish my next book, titled, Carnivore: The politics of meat, from hunting to factory farming.

Hey, I used to have a Triumph Tiger, which is basically a 950 cc dualsport, but it was kind of big and tall for me, plus it was plagued by a combination of warranty/mechanical issues and totally incompetent dealership support. I was about to take them to court, but they agreed to swap out my triumph for a newer 650 BMW cross-country, which is a smaller, lighter dualsport that really kicks ass. They are the cheapest of the beemers, and the motor is actually not BMW but make by Rotax. Been very reliable so far, but one day I'd like to step into a nicer BMW because I like the fact that they don't use chains, but a drive shaft so they are super smooth.
Take care, and good luck with the huntin' buddy!
Mike
hey mike,to bad with the triumph, hope the new one works out better for you. i have a coupla friends that ride BMW's and they like them a lot . one just bought a 08 1300 brand new just outa the bow,0 mi. already has 4000+ on the odometer, another has a 800 with the rotax engine, he likes it , very fast, and he just got that last yr.after tradin in his 02 k1200, with 275000 mi on it . so i think you will enjoy the BMW. i have a 53 panhead(restored)57 servicar(custom)3 wheeler,73 superglide(restored),and a 99 electraglide.i do all my own restorations too. i will look into exchanging links later tonight , good luck huntin.and thanks on the new site. jason(TheDon) from whitetailmafia did a great job for me
