Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
Hi! Sorry about the things I said about you last night! I was a lil upset when I saw your vote on the POLL, I already gave you a public apology via friends status. I was wrong to say what I said and I take it back. Will you forgive me??.......Steve

did you try out the calls yet?season is getting close.good luck
no i havent been home to even see them yet, but my dad said they look real nice.....im goin home this weekend to make a blind and listen for em...hopefully i didnt waste my money when i bought the guillotine....but yeah ill let ya know if i hear any birds and tell ya what i think of the calls
As soon as I take one with my gun I'll put it away and go after them with my bow. I have a blind that should help.
yeah thats exactly what i plan on doin......are u usin just a regular broahead or a guillotine/bullhead?
I'm gonna try the guillotine. This year has been slow so far. It's been cold and rainy with high winds for most of turkey season. Just in the last few days has it warmed up. Just this evening I could hear them gobble on the ridge across from the house.
yeah i figured id give a whack at em w/ the guillotine as well...our season in WV doesnt come in until the 28th....so i still have a few weeks to prepare
I may get the chance to hunt W.V. this year at Camp Herman in May. It's north of White Sulfer Springs.
Enjoy the time off and don't forget to keep an eye on us here, we are planning something big over the weekend :)
Thanks.
