those are just 2 flip up lids on the top of the pit..so instead of having a plywood top that you have to brush up we have the 2 lids that let you stand up in the pit and still be able to see all the way around through the screen..we have had geese land on the lids..just no video of it..YET

yea we are pretty filthy with canadians..snows came too early for us this year though.
