So we are coming up with slogans to run in our ads for fathers day, in the process I decided to find out when our ‘Burly’ rubber hunting boot came out. I was thinking the early 90’s maybe older. I started checking the historic catalogs, first the mid 90’s: yep. Then the 80’s: still there. Maybe 76, our countries bicentennial year: I think I was getting close. 1973: New insulated pac! Finally.

The search continued to the internet where I found the Burly Classic. As you can see not much has changed.

The phrase “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” comes to mind.
