I bought my first Bushmaster rifle, last week. They're known for their top-notch rifles, and I was so excited to finally be able to afford one.
Well...they may have a top-notch product, but their customer service leaves much to desire.

The day after I bought my Bushmaster Camo Predator rifle, I received my current issue (June '08) of Predator Xtreme magazine. Bushmaster has an ad in the magazine for the Camo Predator rifle (page 46), and it states that a sling comes with the rifle.
Mine didn't, so I e-mailed customer service, hoping to have a sling sent to me.
First, they told me a sling doesn't come with the rifle. Then they told me you can't attach a sling to the rifle.
I reminded them of the ad, then I told them THERE IS a way to attach a sling, so don't insult my intelligence.
It all went down-hill, from there.
I proved that a sling could be attached, then asked why would Bushmaster advertise a sling with the rifle, if it couldn't be attached, in the first place?!
So then the CS rep told me "well...MOST people attach a bipod, instead of a sling".
So at least I got that through his thick skull...you CAN attach a sling to the forearm of the rifle.
Then he had the audacity to tell me that it wasn't Bushmasters' ad in the magazine.
What the HADES is going on, here?
I'm sure the sling that's advertised is more-than-likely the cheapest sling they have, so I was just about to say, "To heck with it...it ain't worth all this BS".
But now, it's become a matter of principle. I have my magazine right here, and I'm going to make a copy of the ad, to send to this jerk. I wish they were a local company, 'cause I'd like nothin' better than to deliver it in person...and shove it where the sun don't shine...
