Yesterday is the first day that I haven't spent most of the day doing something related to archery or the hunting industry. I actually shot my bow with my friend Melody Quick's son Chris. He brought over a bag target and we shot for about an hour. I diagnosed his bow as having a leaning cam and needing a spacer on the axle to better align the cam. His arrows were scattering wildly. With some bow maintainence, it should preform much better.
I made a slight adjustment to the center shot on my bow and the group tightened significantly.
So much for archery, with the Byesville Community Day opening ceremony occuring at 11 am, I had to hurry to the park. We finished setting up the stage and snack bar before the crowd arrived. Actually, we could have taken alot more time shooting or setting up because the crowd forget about the activity. We had great entertainment with John Bates (KY), Greg Mitchum (SC), Southern Heart (NC), and Liz Hutchison (OH). The Vinnie and Virgil Show filmed several episodes. I even did an interview. Check them out on www.vinnieandvirgil.com.
