I still don't think they will allow a law that was designed to apply to physical abuse of domestic pets and livestock have any application to hunting wild game. They've also tried to get it to apply to the massive slaughter of chickens & livestock that goes on every day and they lost that fight. LOL! I think the judges like to eat meat. I think the article does a great job of laying out how significant of an impact it would have on the economy as well and I don't think any judge in their right mind would do anything stupid to further hurt the economy right now just because stupid left wing liberals don't care about anything else but their own agendas.

This is the US Supreme Court deciding this.  It WILL affect us if it passes and they still have a political carreer.
