Six time world record holder Patrick Flanigan has announced that he will attempt to break two of his current world records on June 8^th and 9^th at the Winchester Firearms headquarters in Morgan, Utah.

 Flanigan will be accompanied by nine time UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes as he tries to break seven hand thrown clay targets from a hip mount position with a pump action shotgun before they hit the ground. Flanigan says, “I think this record is totally doable with the new Winchester SXP shotgun. This brand new product from Winchester has the smoothest and fastest pump action I have ever seen!”

Flanigan will also attempt to better his current speed world record for firing twelve rounds from a non-modified, semi-automatic Winchester SuperX3 shotgun in 1.4 seconds. When asked what he attributes his fast trigger finger to Flanigan replied, “It’s a combination of things really. Great Winchester products, encouragement from friends like Matt Hughes and 23 years of drumming experience. My drumming background gives me an ability to transfer a fast rhythm from my head to my finger. I visualize each pull of the trigger like it was a stroke of the drumstick on a snare drum.”
