Illinois Trophy Buck Outfitters semi-guided archery and firearm hunts are offered on a very limited basis, 6 weeks per hunting season. Our properties located in Montgomery County consist of plenty of timber, agricultural, rolling hills, creek bottoms, bedding and sanctuaries. This is a more affordable hunt for the experienced hunter who is looking for great quality managed properties to hunt on.
We ask the hunters to arrive in camp 2 days prior to the hunt, which gives them an opportunity to pre-scout, hang stands and glass the properties. One of the benefits to this hunt is that if the hunters do arrive 2 days prior to their hunt and set up stand locations when they arrive they will have an extra day to hunt which would make it a 7 day hunt.`
We have a guide who will show the hunters the properties the day they arrive and provide an aerial photo. The hunters are responsible to provide their own treestands, transportation, food, license, and quad or deer cart. With the exception of the two firearm seasons, all archery hunts are 6-day hunts. We require a minimum of four hunters and allow a max of eight hunters per week.
ILTBO will do everything to make your hunt as enjoyable as possible. Lodging is included and each group of hunters will have the entire lodge to themselves the week that they are hunting.
We will allow the archery hunter to come back late season for a second week in December - January to hunt, lodging and a guide will be provided. We ask that the hunters cover the guide’s expense for the week which is minimal!
