This is my view on hunting some my not like it but this is how I feel. I have never hunted. I don't think I could shoot an animal at this point. Don't get me wrong I love venison and venison jerky. (Its the best!) I do however think it is very importent to know how to hunt and clean an animal. I think the world is headed for an economic colapes, things I think are going to get bad. I am learning how to hunt and clean an animal. I think sport hunting is wrong, killing something for entertainment is wrong. If you kill it, you eat it. I think people who are against hunting are fools. Hunting is useful, provides food and enjoying. But you need to respect it and have a respect for the animals you are hunting. I know for me there is nothing like the moment just before you release an arrow, and I have only been target shooting. I was wrong when I said I don't think I could shoot an animal at this point, I am not ready yet but I know I will be. I was brought up with Bambi and other things that made hunting seem bad and evil, but I think it is more evil for an animal to starve to death because of over population than to shoot it and eat it. All those people who say that hunting is cruel should sit down and watch a video of a meat plant. Talk about cruel. I am an animal rights person, NOT PETA, I think they are a bunch of jacka**es. They are to extreme. I do think there is any reason to harm an animal. Some people might not like what I have to say perticulaly about shooting for sport, but that is how I feel. I think it all comes down respect. Respect for hunting, for the animal and for yourself.
